Event Hire Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Dolly and Moo, thank you for visiting. This website is operated and managed by Dolly and Moo (ABN 91522472994). The below Terms and Conditions apply when enquiring about and booking event hire items.

General Terms

  • When you submit an Event Hire Enquiry Form, you are agreeing to the Terms and Conditions specified in this document.

  • Prices are subject to change at the owners discretion.

  • Dolly and Moo has the right to reject any order placed that does not align with company values.

  • All hire items are for Victorian events only, and will be picked up and returned to Ormond, Victoria 3204.

Payment

  • Currency accepted is AUD (Australian Dollars).

  • Payments for Event Hire will be accepted via invoice, which will be sent through email, payable with debit/credit cards or bank transfer.

  • All bookings require a $100.00 security deposit that will be refunded once items are returned and deemed in suitable condition.

  • To confirm your booking period, a 25% deposit must be paid.

  • The balance must be paid 14 days prior to your pick up date.

  • Late fees will apply to all hire items not returned on the return date.

Process and Delivery

  • Enquiry form is filled out by the client.

  • Confirmation of date, and a detailed quote is delivered to client for their perusal.

  • Once the quote is accepted and pick up/return dates confirmed, a 25% deposit will be due.

  • The remaining balance remaining will be due 14 days prior to pick up date.

  • Once the balance is paid, the Ormond, Victoria 3204 address will be confirmed.

  • Items to be collected by client.

  • Items to be returned by client.

  • Security bond will be refunded within 2 weeks of return date if items are returned on time, in the condition that they were picked up in.

  • If items are not returned on time, late fees will apply and security bond forfeited, as specified below.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

The client may cancel a hire order at anytime, but will therefore forfeit all payments already made to Dolly and Moo.

Cancellation of a booking due to situations out of control of Dolly and Moo will still be subject to the above policy.

Late Fees

A late fee of $50.00 per day will be charged if the hire item/s are not returned by the due date as specified in the invoice.

Hire Item Condition

Dolly and Moo hire items are not in brand new condition and will show signs of wear and tear. They will be regularly maintained to ensure they are aesthetically and structurally sound at time of pick up.

Collection and Return

Hire items are to be collected and returned on the agreed date and time at the Ormond, Victoria 3204 location.

Damaged Hire Items

Once hire item/s are collected, the client has full responsibility of all item/s hired. the hire item/s are to be stored safely and securely, away from poor weather and any other risk factors.

Hire Item/s are to be kept clean and well maintained in the condition they are in on pick up. Should an item become damaged, it is the client’s responsibility to notify Dolly and Moo as soon as possible.

Photos

The client consents to allow Dolly and Moo to use social media images shwoig the hire item/s while at clients events. Dolly and Moo will aim to credit other event suppliers involved.

Insurance

Once hire item/s are in the possession of the client, the client assumes all responsibilities and liabilities until their return to Dolly and Moo.

Disclaimer

Dolly and Moo will not be held responsible or accountable in any way for any injury, death or loss of income caused to customers, guests, staff at event venues, or any third parties or properties due to hire item/s provided by Dolly and Moo.

Policy Changes

Dolly and Moo reserve the right to amend and change the pricing, terms and conditions and privacy information as they see fit, and at any time.
